Training builds skills. QCA proves competence.

More companies are taking the next step beyond training with our Qualified Coating Applicator (QCA) certification - demonstrating that their workforce can apply those skills effectively in real working environments.

The QCA scheme is accredited by Lloyd’s Register, providing assurance and confidence in the certification process.

✔ Independently certified by an independent third-party assessor
✔ Validates skills developed through training
✔ Demonstrates real, on-the-job competence
✔ Builds client confidence
✔ Strengthen bids and demonstrates workforce capability

For contractors and applicators, QCA provides a recognised way to show that competence goes beyond completing a training course.

Does more glassflake mean better coating performance?

Not necessarily. Glassflake content is only part of the picture – particle geometry, resin chemistry, formulation, application and performance testing all play a role.

Our latest article explores the subject, drawing on insights from Simon Daly of Safinah, originally published by Protective Coatings Expert (PCE).
