10 YEARS OF LARKSPUR AT BEACON HILL FARM! 🐴❤️

Well, this is an announcement we couldn’t have possibly imagined all those years ago…

But somehow, we have made it 10 glorious years of Larkspur being at Beacon Hill Farm!

And what a 10 years it has been. We are so lucky to be able to say that, despite the odd bump along the way, there have certainly been more ups than downs.

Covid? Well… that was a close call! But we came out the other side. 😅

We are incredibly lucky to have the very best teams of both humans and horses at Larkspur, and we truly couldn’t do it without them.

And, as always, to every client — past and present — who has been part of our quirky little riding school…

We couldn’t let the occasion pass without a little gathering, so we would like to invite you all to come and celebrate with us!

At the yard we will have:

🏰 Bouncy castle
🍔 BBQ
🎉 And a few other activities to keep you all entertained!

Hopefully the sun will be with us, but we will mostly be set up in the indoor school — so British weather won’t stop the party! 😂

We will be creating an event on Facebook so that we can get an idea of numbers, so please let us know if you’re coming.

🐴✨ Our first clinic this week with Amelia Collins Equestrian
was an absolute success!

Riders spent the session working over poles and small jumps, focusing on improving balance, rhythm, accuracy and confidence. It was fantastic to see so much progress throughout the day, with plenty of smiles from both horses and riders!

We’re delighted to welcome Amelia back to Larkspur on Thursday 20th August, and we still have a few spaces available.

2:30pm - 30 Minute Private with Simone
Perfect as a private lesson for existing clients, or an assessment lesson if you’re new to riding at Larkspur.

🧽 Thursday 6th August
12:30pm - Pony Pamper & Hack with Alison
A fantastic session with plenty of pony cuddles, grooming and a gentle hack. Ideal for younger riders and pony lovers!

🌞 Friday 7th August
A couple of spaces are still available for our Awesome Day at the Stables!
A full day of riding, pony care, stable activities and lots of fun.

⭐ Saturday 8th August
4:15pm - 1st Rider Group Lesson
Perfect for children taking their first steps into the saddle in a relaxed, friendly group environment.

We had a great day 1st of “The Day At The Stables” sessions for our 2026 summer of fun.

Lots of pony baths, great hacks in the sun, met Head Groom Riley and Phish after their schooling session, made some horse Kebabs (which the pony’s loved for their bedtime snacks) we mucked out, we cleaned tack, we did arena races, grooming competition (overall team TinTin won) we even tried out the new mounting block.

All young people returned home happy, tired and needing a good shower 😂😂

We have more sessions Friday 31st July and 5th, 7th, 14th, 19th, 21st, 26th and 28th of August.
