Good morning everyone,
I apologise for being very quiet recently. Some of you may have noticed that I have reduced my working hours over the last few months.
As many of my students and families are aware, both of my boys have additional needs and have been unable to attend school for various reasons during this time. As a result, I have needed to reduce my tutoring hours so that I could focus on supporting them, whilst also ensuring that I could continue to give my very best to the students I teach.
I never wanted to stop tutoring completely because I genuinely love teaching my wonderful students. However, it has meant that some things have slipped a little behind the scenes. My admin has never been my strongest skill (thank you, ADHD!) and unfortunately some new enquiries have gone unanswered. If you contacted me and didn't receive a reply, please accept my sincere apologies – it was never intentional. Please feel free to resent your enquiry, although I will try to follow up messages in the next week.
Thankfully, things are beginning to settle and I am now in a position to gradually introduce a few more working hours during the school day. I'm still working out exactly which days these will be, as I'm currently juggling being a mum, therapist, teacher, taxi service, advocate and business owner all at once! One thing I can say is that life is certainly never boring.
I will also be sorting invoices for next term, which will be sent out over the next couple of weeks. If any current parents are looking to swap days, please drop me an email or message so I can see what I can do.
If you are looking for maths tuition now, over the summer holidays, or from September onwards, please feel free to get in touch. I would love to hear from you.
Thank you, as always, for your patience, understanding and support.
Jillian
