m, the school was founded in 1933 and became an educational trust in 1963. It is a co-educational preparatory day school, providing the best possible education for the 21st century. A happy and respectful rapport between children and staff at Barfield is a wonderful platform for engaged learning. Small class sizes ensure children can work at their own pace while being encouraged, challenged and rewarded in all aspects of their school life. Our outdoor pursuits department, Three Peaks Barfield, makes full use of the extensive grounds and runs Holiday Activity Camps, Birthday Parties, Swimming School and Saturday Sports Courses.

A huge well done to our amazing team of nursery staff who took part in the Pretty Muddy Race for Life at Stoke Park on Saturday! 💖

We're so proud of everyone who got muddy, pushed themselves, and came together to support such an incredible cause. It was a fantastic day filled with teamwork, laughter, and determination.

Wow!!! Huge congratulations 🙌🏼

This year, Barfield pupils have taken 68 LAMDA examinations, achieving an exceptional 100% Distinction and High Merit pass rate, with an incredible 97% of students achieving the highest grade of Distinction.

We are incredibly proud of our LAMDA pupils and want to say a special thank you to Ms Carol and Ms Natalie for all of your hard work and support throughout. The team at at amazing. 🤩

⚡️Flashback Friday ⚡️

Back in the Summer Term, our Owls had a brilliant Fairy Tale themed WOW day. They really went all out with fantastic costumes and lots of fun activities. They worked on their fine motor skills by searching for gold coins amongst the ivy using tweezers. They got creative, making Play-Doh bean stalks, and they also planted a runner bean each... which hopefully grew into a tall beanstalk reaching up into the sky.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Year 6 children and their families for your incredibly thoughtful leavers’ gift.

The beautiful wooden bench, engraved with each child’s name, is a truly special keepsake that will be treasured for many years to come. It will always remind us of a fantastic cohort who have left a lasting mark on our school.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity and continued support. We are so proud of each and every one of you and wish you all the very best as you begin your next adventure. You will always be part of our school family.

Yesterday was another great day for our children as we head into the final days of the academic year.

Year 6 had their traditional Head Boy vs Head Girl cricket match and of course the much anticipated Inter House Tug-of-War 💪

It was a great day full of energy, healthy competition and lots of resilience and enthusiasm throughout!

These are the days which they will remember forever 💙
