Now your child can join iRock too!
At iRock we believe every child deserves an opportunity to express themselves! Our in-school rock and pop band lessons provide an amazing confidence-boosting experience for children by making music fun!
Weekly iRock lessons help to unleash your child's confidence: playing in their very own band, learning their favourite songs, leading up to live concerts.
No musical experience is necessary
iRock provide all of the instruments
Your child can choose from drums, keyboard, lead electric guitar, bass guitar or vocals
iRock lessons are held during the school day
Our experienced band coaches will guide the band through every lesson
iRock runs from Reception through to Year 6
Bands are grouped by age
Children choose their band name and learn their favourite songs
Rehearsals build towards a concert at the end of each term
Included in iRock is a brand new music qualification that children can achieve without needing to take an exam
Click here https://www.irockschool.com/enrol to visit our website, type in the name of your school and register interest for your child to join iRock.

Join us on Wednesday 12th at 6:30pm for a welcome evening at the junior site.
Due to the extreme weather, there will be no outside PE on Monday and Tuesday and lunchtime play outside has been reduced. Children may wear PE kit. Although we will be open tomorrow we are aware that some parents may choose not to send their children to school due to the heat. If this is the case, please leave a message on our absence line to let us know. Thank you and stay safe.

Children who are not on an induction day this week need to come in to school as normal.
Celebration Afternoon
Near the end of term, we are inviting parents to come in at the end of the day to see their children's work.
For Year 3 this will be on Tuesday 12th July - at 2.15pm we will have coffee/biscuits and the Headteacher, Home School Link Worker and some of our governors will be there to chat and ask your views about the school, followed by going to the classrooms to see children's work at 3pm.
For the rest of the school this will be on Friday 15th July. Year R, 1 and 2 classes will be open from 2.45pm and Years 4, 5 and 6 will be open from 3pm. Woodlands children will be in the Woodlands centre with their work to share with parents.
Parents may take their child early if they don't wish to stay for the whole session. If a child does not have a parent/grandparent, they will be dismissed at the usual time.
This will be a termly event from now on. Dates will be published at the beginning of next term, with celebration afternoon on a different day of the week each term so that as many people as possible can come along. It has been difficult to have parents in school over the last two years so we hope that this will give you a better understanding of what your child does at school, enable you to celebrate their successes and feel more part of the school community.
Dear parents and carers,
Apologies for any confusion, there is NO M***I DAY tomorrow, children should come to school in their uniform and bring their filled bags of wrapped sweets (no chocolate please) and small toys. Thank you for your support.
Please find attached our weekly bulletin.
Kind regards,
School Office
