Hi all i am looking for a 3rd childminding Assistant to join our team.

Job Overview
I am looking for a 3rd assistant that is dedicated and enthusiastic to support daily activities and provide assistance in a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about childcare, teaching, or caregiving, with a focus on fostering a safe and engaging atmosphere. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing positively to the overall experience. Training is available on the job. Possible start date September 2026 if all checks are completed. Tuesday to Friday 8am till 5pm. You must ha e own care and be able to travel children around

Duties
Support the main in organising daily schedules and activities
Assist with childcare responsibilities, including supervising children and engaging them in educational or recreational activities
The person must have their own car and be able to travel children around for outings, appointments and activities.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
Maintain organised environments, including tidying up play areas and learning spaces
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and needs
Support with meal preparation or snack organisation as needed Skills
Experience in driving, teaching, nannying, or childcare roles is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Compassionate and patient demeanour when working with children
Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with parents and children
Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and needs
Organised, reliable, and proactive approach to work responsibilities
To be a keyworker to a number of children. Helping them work towards their next steps of development through activities and the daily routine.

🐝 🐝 This month we are learning about life cycles. This has been exciting and the children have loved learning about bees this week. They have even created their own balloon bees to take home. My own son in the image. We have also had lots of garden play with this lovely weather at the moment 🐝 🐝

This week we will be learning about Chinese new year. The year of the horse and making lanterns. We will also be making sented playdough to be our pancake mix and role play Mr wolfs pancake story 😋

I have read this myself and have a few things I don't agree on. They are only seeing 5 hours of the day and we have a range of children throughout the week so very hard to judge any setting in my opinion in this time. I am happy to provide references from parents that have attend and do attend some being with me from 6 months and left to go to pre school doing well and having comments back from the pre school saying how ready they are. Live in 5 working days

Tuesday to friday 8am till 5pm all year round potentially adding Mondays when needed
I am seeking a childcare assistant that is dedicated, nurturing and can provide exceptional care for children in a warm and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and educational atmosphere while supporting the children's development. This role requires someone who is enthusiastic about childcare.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in various activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Plan and implement educational games and activities that promote learning and development. .
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, catering to any dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Help plan activities which cover all 7 areas of learning. -Be happy to drive children to groups and on outings with the childminder. - To do training and keep this up to date; main ones to have are paediatric first aid and level 3 safeguarding.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in nannying or childcare would be helpful.
- A valid driver's licence is preferred to facilitate transportation of children.
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and structured activities.
- A caring, patient, and responsible attitude towards children of all ages.
- First Aid certification is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain it is required. Safeguarding level 3 would be good to have or willingness to obtain this is required.
