⭐Great schools do not exist in isolation. They thrive when the wider community wraps around them — when businesses, alumni, local leaders, and passionate individuals say: I believe in this place, and I want to help it flourish.⭐

Our Patron Scheme is exactly that invitation. It is a chance for people who care about St John’s Infant School to play an active and meaningful role in its future. It is open to anyone who has a connection to the school or who simply has a passion for child centred education. We particularly welcome:

🫟Alumni and former pupils who wish to give something back to the school that shaped them.
🫟Parents and families - past or present - who want to see every child’s light shine.
🫟Members of the community who share the view that this school is the heartbeat of the village supporting the shops, church, sports clubs and wider community.

Every contribution made through the Patron Scheme goes directly to supporting pupils and the school community. Funds are directed towards areas including:
🔹Enrichment activities - from arts and music to sport and outdoor learning.
🔹Resources, equipment, staff, improvements to school buildings and facilities.
🔹Mental health, wellbeing and support for pupils and staff.

⭐We did something a little bit special this week - we started our celebrations marking 155 years of St John's School!⭐

We were joined by parents, community members and staff at a pizza, w**e and chat evening, to share stories, memories and plans for the future of our wonderful school. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us.
