We hope you have all had a wonderful summer break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Thursday for another exciting year of learning and fun!

We can't wait to hear all about the children's summer adventures, and a very special welcome goes to our new Reception children and their families as they begin their journey with us. We are excited to meet you and look forward to helping your little ones settle into school life.

🌟 Thank You for a Wonderful Year! 🌟

As another fantastic school year comes to a close, we would like to thank all our parents, staff and children for their continued support and hard work.

We are incredibly proud of everything our children have achieved this year and wish our Year 2 pupils every success as they begin their next adventure at junior school. 🎓

To all our families, thank you for being part of our school community. We wish you a safe, happy and relaxing summer break and look forward to welcoming everyone back on Thursday 3rd September.

🏆 Champions Day 2026 🏆

What a fantastic morning our 8 representatives had at Mytchett Academy for the Trust-wide Champions Day!

Bringing together young athletes from all Kite schools, the event celebrated sporting achievement, teamwork, determination and friendship. The children took part in a carousel of activities that tested a wide range of skills before competing in sprint races.

Congratulations to all of our Champions Day competitors. We are incredibly proud of the children who took part and represented Folly Hill so brilliantly! 🌟

A huge thank you to Crocodile Encounters for visiting us today! 🐊🐍

The children had an amazing experience meeting a variety of fascinating animals and learning all about them. They were incredibly brave and had the opportunity to get up close to a crocodile, a Burmese python, a giant tortoise, a bearded dragon, and a blue-tongued skink.

It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience - thank you to Crocodile Encounters for another engaging and memorable visit! 😊

Today we welcomed Chloe's and Sophie's Special Ears Fund to school for an inspiring deaf awareness assembly.
Our children learned some British Sign Language (BSL) helping them to better understand and communicate with deaf people.
A huge thank you to Karen and Sarah for delivering such an engaging session!

🌟 Community Week Continues! 🌟
We've had another fantastic couple of days of community-focused activities across the school!
📮 Year 1 spread some cheer by delivering postcards to our neighbours.
📚 Members of our School Council enjoyed visiting Greenway's Pre-School, where they shared stories and read with the children.
🐦 Year R got creative by making bird feeders which will be placed around the school grounds to help support local wildlife.
♻️ Year 2 helped care for our environment by taking part in a litter pick around the local area.
We also welcomed speakers from Farnham Mosque and Farnham Library.
Thank you to everyone who brought in donations for Farnham Foodbank and Hygiene Bank - these will make a difference to those in need.

A huge well done to all for demonstrating kindness, responsibility and community spirit throughout the week. We're so proud of the positive impact they are making both in school and beyond! 💙

🌟 A fantastic start to our Community Week! 🌟
On Monday, the children were visited by Graham from Saint Francis Animal Care and had the exciting opportunity to meet a real hedgehog🦔 A huge thank you to Graham for helping our children learn more about these wonderful animals and the important work of animal care.

Today, the children welcomed the Mayor of Farnham, Councillor Graham White, and Mayoress to their assembly. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to learn more about their local community and the role of the Mayor.

What a wonderful way to begin a week filled with learning and community engagement.

Thank you, The Hedgehogs Farnham! The Farnham Carnival was an absolute blast, and we were thrilled to take part alongside Hale Nursery & Primary Academy with our fantastic 101 Dalmatians entry. From our fabulous Cruella De Vil to the many adorable puppies from both schools, it truly was a magical day.
A huge thank you to all the parents and families who joined us and helped make the day so special — we couldn’t have done it without you! 🐾
