Seale Village Pre-school's first fun day was a blast thanks to all our amazing family and friends who came out to celebrate! It was fantastic seeing everyone having so much fun. Your generosity means the world to us – thanks to you, we raised £258.50 to buy new resources for the preschool (stay tuned for a follow-up post!)
Today is the day! Looking forward to seeing you all there!
The children have been practicing their climbing skills this morning!
What tracks can we make?
Lovely walk this morning! We went on a hunt for different tracks and we found all sorts! Different tyre marks and dog and horse footprints. We even found some ducks but couldn't spot their footprints.
We also said hello to the farmers on the blueberry fields and met a lovely dog named Freddie (from a distance)
We still have a few stall spaces available at £10 a table. If interested please contact through here or email [email protected]
We are excited to announce our first (hopefully annual) Summer funday! Everyone is welcome to attend whether you attend our Pre-school currently, attended our Pre-School in the past or have no affiliation to our Pre-School.
Join us for a bouncy castle, face painting, raffle for exciting prizes and lots more!

Teamwork makes the dream work!
This week at our Hedgehogs site, the children worked together to move woodchips in wheelbarrows. It's amazing to see them develop their teamwork skills and helping spirits!
Outdoor learning is a great chance for the children to connect with their friends. We saw some lovely moments of sharing and cooperation this week, even during a fun game of tag!
💚
Relaxing in nature - there are certainly worse ways to spend a Tuesday!
What do we get up to at Forest School?
Well I think the pictures speak volumes but here are some of the child initiated activities from the past 2 weeks.
🐞Hunting for bugs and observing them!
✏️Mark making with our hands and sticks!
🌺Using books to identify different plants!
🖐️Using our senses to explore the natural environment!
⛏️Digging and transporting materials!
🐦Learning about different species of birds and what their eggs look like!
The children have also been very busy at pre-school putting up the greenhouse and getting the garden ready for growing all kinds of different plants!
The children enjoyed a story and song time in the garden this afternoon!
Today we met a snake, toad, hedgehog and an owl.
The children have learnt lots of interesting facts about these amazing creatures and ways in which we can help them in our gardens at home and at our forest school sites! We also learnt how to be quiet and gentle with the animals so they didn't feel scared meeting us.
Thank you Wild About Britain for coming to see us today! We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

The children have been very busy during our Forest School sessions over the past few weeks! We have been learning about composting, identifying different plants and trees, building a hedgehog house with sticks and so much more!
We have decided to build a bug hotel at our Foxes site so if you have any bamboo sticks, pine cones, bricks or anything else you think would be useful please bring them to preschool and it will all be put to good use!
Something a bit different to do during half term!
Only £5 per ticket (under 2's free)
Busy bees at both of our Forest school sites today! 🦔🦊
Thank you so much to all of our children and their families for coming today and making our carol concert so special. It was so lovely to have you all there!

Thank you so much to all of our families who have donated such wonderful gifts as part of our 'acts of kindness advent calendar'. These will be off to Hale Community Centre and regifted to children who need them!
It's amazing what we are lucky enough to see right on our doorstep! The children were amazed that a wheel could be so enormous! "I wonder if it is bigger than you?" one of the children commented to the staff member.
