Just one week to go before booking closes for the first in our Visual Story Telling Workshops: Instagram and iPhoneography

Monday 6th March 2017. From 10.00am - 3.00pm. At the New Ashgate Gallery in Farnham, Surrey.

During this hands-on workshop you will learn all about using Instagram for business or pleasure, about visual storytelling, understanding composition and light and we will give you tips on how to use some of our favourite apps for both photography and editing.

There will be lots of time to practice and time to answer your questions and give advice on how to improve your photography skills. You don’t have to have an iPhone, any camera will do as long as your battery is charged and your card clear!
What's included? : Refreshments throughout the day and a light lunch.

What's not included? : Parking charges (though we can give you an indication of what they might be), transport or accommodation costs.

Many people have asked us about workshops to help with telling your story on your websites and through social media, so that is exactly what we've created . . . three Visual Storytelling Workshops beginning in March, each with a different theme, hopefully covering the areas we've been asked for. Each workshop is a combination of theory, followed by a practical session helping you to take better photographs to tell your stories.

Yesterday we spent the afternoon styling some gorgeous shots of silver clay jewellery for our website with Claire Lewis, Imaginista and Claire Talbot. The jewellery pieces are still a work in progress by the lovely ladies who are making them but gives you a cheeky peek into what you could make on our Spring Make Weekend.
