Introducing Tammy

I have 3 children of my own aged 15, 8, and 3. I have just started my career in Childcare and am looking forward to progressing with Toddletown. I have always wanted to work with children, and now mine are grown up, I am finally able to start. I have a love of the outdoors, all things natural, and am keen on arts and crafts. I look forward to meeting all of the new children.

By now we are sure you are all well aware just how talented our amazing directors are…

Introducing our amazing garden! John has brought all of his dreams to life in our astounding garden.
The children will have free access to explore, a castle, art studio and even narnia to let their wildest dreams come to life.
We’ve said it before and we will say it again, our most important job at Toddletown is being able to facilitate the children’s dreams, showing them that anything is possible!

What another amazing week we’ve had at Toddletown Farnham!
This week we have had 6 stay and play sessions, lots of settling in paperwork visits and plenty of tours and interviews.

Our key people have spent a lot of quality time with there new key children setting the foundations to forming strong bonds!

We’re so excited to do it all over again next week.

Toddletown ‘grab bags’ are now available at The Gorge - Farnham Farnham Leisure Centre Farnham Library Farnham Park Cafe & Golf Course!
These bags are designed for you to collect while visiting the area, you can then use this as an activity pack for your little one while you are enjoying your coffee or lunch! The bags can then be brought home with you to continue exploring! As always we would love to see photos of you all enjoying these grab bags so be sure to tag us in any posts.

What bag should I bring to Toddletown Farnham? …. Don’t worry we provide them! When you sign up to join our nursery we will provide you with the perfect nursery bag. Not only are the bags perfect size to fit all of your essentials in but they are also perfect size to fit onto your little ones backs. They are also super stylish !

Yesterday was our first ever stay and play for our registered parents. This was a great chance for our parents to not only meet some of our wonderful practitioners but a chance for all of our parents to get to know each other and the children to begin on their journey to starting with us at Toddletown.
We had so many different provocations for all the children to explore as well as the opportunity for all the children to fully explore all areas of their new rooms and the garden!
We are holding lots more of these sessions to our registered parents ahead of our opening along with daily tours to all new parents who haven’t had the opportunity to come and see Toddletown Farnham for themselves. Send Sophie an email on [email protected] to get a tour booked in!

Alex

I have been working in early years since 2017 and I thoroughly enjoy seeing a child's development in the first few years of their life.
I was fortunate in my previous workplace to be working with SEN children and have gained valuable knowledge and experience in that field. I look forward to sharing all I have learnt and increasing that knowledge at Toddletown.
Since joining Toddletown in January 2023 at the Farncomb branch, I have been able to witness the shared passion that I have for child centred play as one of the main focuses within the nursery. I am excited to continue this ethos at the Farnham setting, helping the children develop and grow through play, into thriving young people.

Shannen

I have only recently started my journey within childcare however in a short time have found my love and passion to start a new career. Previously I was a Dental Practice Manager and Dental Nurse but having my youngest, Jenson 18 months ago; I found it didn’t have a healthy work life balance. I wanted to find a job that I loved but also my family loved too and I couldn’t think of anything more wonderful than working within the childcare industry. Watching my child grow and develop everyday brings such a joy, that being apart of the journey for other children would be extraordinary.
I love Toddletown’s ethos of letting children be children and learning through play, and I can’t wait for myself and Jenson to be part of that journey.

I have been working with children since 2018 and have loved every minute of it! I knew from a young age I wanted to work with children, watching them learn, grow and develop is such a rewarding feeling knowing you have helped that little one achieve in life. My favourite thing is to sit in a nice cosy corner and read stories, especially Julia Donaldson. Having a run about in the garden and creating lots of mess during messy play activities!
I have recently started my journey with Toddletown and am currently based at our Farncombe setting until we open and I already feel apart of the family. My little boy is also loving it here, we can’t wait to meet you all.

Today was spent setting up different provocations to begin developing our activity bank for when we open! This has seen lots of set ups incorporating the china resources within our preschool room. But, do you know why we choose to use china within our setting?
