😁 Just one week to go until we welcome all of our children back to school on Thursday 3rd September!

We are so excited to start a brand-new school year and can't wait to hear all about the children's summer adventures.

We are also looking forward to welcoming our new year 3 and Reception children and families as they begin their journey with us. ❤️

Enjoy the final week of the holidays, and we look forward to seeing everyone next Thursday, ready for another year of learning and fun!

And that’s a wrap! 🎉

Today, we said goodbye to our wonderful Year 6 pupils as they begin the next stage of their learning journey; the whole school came out to clap, cheer and celebrate the children as they left Hale Nursery and Primary Academy for the last time. We are so very proud of everything they have achieved and the wonderful people they have become. We would like to wish them every success in their new schools.

A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for your support throughout the year. We wish everyone a safe, happy and fun-filled summer holiday.

We look forward to welcoming you back on Thursday 3rd September and can’t wait to hear all about your summer adventures! ☀️

Another community week success!

We’re incredibly proud to share that, together with Folly Hill Infant Academy, we donated an amazing 88.8kg of essential items to The Hygiene Bank Farnham. They said by far this is the heaviest donation they have ever received!?!

The volunteers who collected the donations were both impressed and deeply moved by the generosity shown by our school communities.

A huge thank you to all our families, pupils and staff for supporting such a worthwhile cause and making a real difference in our local community. And thank you to Farnham The Hygiene Bank Farnham for coming to visit our children and share the importance of the bank for our local community.

Another brilliant couple of days for our Hale Community Week! Gardening club joined the community garden at Hale Community Centre and yesterday, year 2 visited the Community Centre and sang to some of our senior local residents using sign language. The children were described as a 'credit to the school' and that 'it has been a pleasure to have them visit'. We couldn't be prouder of the children and how they have represented the school.☺️ Big thank you to the Hale Community Centre for inviting us to visit. 😍

It was a busy and memorable day filled with learning, creativity and connections with our local community.
The day began with a fascinating assembly delivered by visitors from our local mosque Mubarak Mosque, helping our children learn more about how they support the community.
In the afternoon, year 2 then enjoyed a wonderful weaving workshop led by Farnham Young Arts, while the Hale History Project brought the school's past to life as we welcomed former pupils back to share their memories of attending Hale.
It was particularly special to hear from one visitor who attended the school in the 1950s, and we were also delighted to welcome former teachers. Their stories gave our children a unique insight into how school life has changed over the years and they had lots of photos to share and some our current staff even found pictures of themselves from when they attended Hale!
A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time to make today such a success. We look forward to another exciting day tomorrow and the summer fair on Saturday!😊

On Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome the local charity, Chloe's and Sophie's Special Ears Fund, to work with our children and help them learn how to be more inclusive of deaf people they may meet in their lives in an assembly today.
The children enjoyed learning some British Sign Language (BSL), including greetings, how to spell their names and how to hold a simple conversation with a deaf person. It was a fantastic opportunity to develop their understanding, empathy and communication skills.
A huge thank you to Karen and Sarah for delivering such an engaging and inspiring session. The impact was immediate—it was wonderful to see the children putting their learning into practice straight away by signing "thank you" and spelling their names as they left the hall.
We are so proud of their enthusiasm and willingness to embrace new ways of communicating and connecting with others with hearing loss. 💙

Wow! ❤️
This week, our community has shown the very best of what it means to care for one another. The incredible generosity shown in support of Farnham Foodbank and Farnham Hygiene Bank is expressed in these photos of the donations parents, carers and children have given today as part of our community week.
Every donation represents kindness, compassion and a desire to help those who may be facing difficult times; each item will make a real difference to local families and individuals who need it most. Farnham Foodbank The Hygiene Bank Farnham

As Community Week continued, we were delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress of Farnham to Hale on Tuesday.
The children enjoyed hearing all about their roles and the work they do within the local community. In return, they were excited to share the many activities and projects they will be involved in throughout Community Week.
Thank you to the Mayor and Mayoress for taking the time out of your busy schedule to visit us and inspire our pupils with your experiences and dedication to serving our community. Farnham Town Council
