Hale Academy Newsletter Issue 3 - 22nd September 2023 Dear Families,
We have been invited to participate in the 2k Cross Country race at Farnham Park on Saturday 14th October 2023. This is open to all children in Years 3-6. If your child is interested in taking part, please complete the following permission slip by Wednesday 11th October 2023: https://forms.office.com/e/B9ZWKa7H1R
All children are welcome, regardless of whether they attended cross country club last year. However, whilst this is a fun event, it is not an easy run as conditions tend to be boggy with inclines and the children will need to be really confident in their running ability and overall fitness to manage the 2K distance.

Hale Academy Newsletter Issue 1 - 8th September 2023 Dear Families,
A reminder that Monday 4th, Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th September are INSET Days and the school is closed - we look forward to seeing the children on Thursday.
Our new to Reception children will be in school on Wednesday 6th from 9am-12pm as per the transition letter.
Can we also remind you of the following:
- All shoes for school uniform days should be completely black.
- Trainers for PE should be completely black (not illuminous green/oranges that have been creeping in this year!)
- PE kit should be non-branded blue or black track suit bottoms. If you would like to check uniform regulations please see the uniform page on our website.
- The PTA have a lot of good quality second hand uniform, please contact them if this can support you in any way.
- Water bottles should all be clear/transparent- bottles where the contents cannot be seen will not be allowed.
- No pencil cases. Children will be provided with their own individual resources. Pencil cases have been becoming more and more elaborate and therefore a distraction for learning.
Thank you
Dear all
