We offer high quality instruction with a friendly atmosphere. Whether you wish to compete, learn to defend yourself or purely workout and increase your fitness, our clubs offer lessons for all ages or abilities and are equ

Our classes are great for improving fitness, weight loss, toning and flexibility, whilst learning practical self defense skills and are a great way to stay healthy and keep fit. Students from Farnham Karate Academy, joined over 200 other committed karate practitioners in Paris. France at the weekend, where Wado-Ryu Grandmaster Hironori Otsuka III, conducted a 3 day seminar.
The course concentrated on fundamental techniques & improving body movement.
Our Farnham class runs every Sunday morning at Weydon School gymnasium.
9.30-10.30am children's class
10.30-12.00 adults & teens class.

Last week was exactly 20 years ago that we hosted a visiting group of Wado karate students from Tokyo, Japan for the evening, at our Haslemere dojo.
We did some demos, so did they and we then trained together for a couple of hours together.
A great evening...this short Idori demo was a crowd pleaser!

An excellent 5 days of intense training at the Winter Course in Guildford this last week.
Lovely to see & train again with our Wado family from so many countries.
The clubs had 3 students taking 2nd Dan at the end of the course.
Sadly Tom & Greg didn't make the grade this time, but congratulations to Nick who passed at the second attempt.
Well done for taking on the challenge gents, and thanks to all from the clubs who attended during the week and the instructors for their knowledge. 🙏👌👍👏

We always used to say nobody fails their red belt...12 years ago, Luke as a 6 year old kid, was the first who actually did!
Last night aged 18, he passed his 3rd kyu brown belt with flying colours.
He showed great technique and his karate couldn't be more different now! 👊

The clubs hosted the Wado Karate Academy New Years training on Sunday, with Arthur Meek 8th Dan Sensei coaching on behalf of Shiomitsu Sensei 9th Dan Hanshi.
Our Farnham class runs every Sunday at Weydon School gymnasium, Weydon Lane, GU9 8UG.
Anyone interested in starting traditional karate can come and try a session for free any Sunday morning.
Children's class 9.30-10.30am (6 plus years old)
Adult and teens class 10.30am-12.00pm.
