I attended Weydon School and experienced harmful, inappropriate support. At the time, I did not have a diagnosis. I was told meaningful support would not be provided without one, while anxiety and neurodivergent traits were treated as behaviour and punished rather than supported.

After leaving school, I was later diagnosed with ADHD and autism, and subsequently with PTSD and Generalised Anxiety Disorder β€” diagnoses that finally explained what was happening back then.

Since speaking out, I have heard multiple accounts from former students sharing similar β€” and in some cases deeply distressing β€” experiences. I’ve heard horror stories alongside my own.

This is not isolated. It is a pattern 🌷

If you attended Weydon School and experienced harm, dismissal, or punitive responses related to mental health, ADHD, or autism, I’m inviting you to share your story privately.

This is about advocacy, accountability, and protecting future students.
Not naming individuals. Not public accusations.

Your story matters. Your wellbeing matters 🀍

Hi, I’m Jasmine πŸ’•
I’m an advocate on a mission to raise awareness around ADHD, autism, and mental health in education.

This space is rooted in lived experience and focused on highlighting where systems support students β€” and where they cause harm. Too often, neurodivergent students are misunderstood, given the wrong support, or disciplined for distress rather than supported through it.

I’m here to share experiences, identify patterns, and advocate for safer, more inclusive approaches in schools. This isn’t about blame or naming individuals β€” it’s accountability, learning and doing better for future students.

If you care about inclusive education, mental health, and neurodiversity, you’re welcome here.🌷

Stories matter. Students matter.
