Wow, what a fun and creative week we have had ✨

Providing opportunities for creativity in early years fosters critical thinking skills, provides opportunities for emotional expression, and cognitive growth.

It involves exploring, imagining, and problem-solving through play rather than focusing on a finished product.

We nurture this by providing open-ended materials, time for exploration, and a supportive, low-pressure environment ✨

✨ Exploring Our Senses ✨

Sensory exploration helps children understand how their actions affect what’s around them. It also supports brain development, enhances memory, complex tasks and develops problem solving skills.

Sensory play encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity. It helps to build nerve connections in the brain and encourages the development of language and motor skills ✨

πŸ§‘β€πŸ”¬πŸ§«πŸ”¬ Science Week 🧬πŸ§ͺπŸ₯Ό

We had so much fun during science week!

Science in the early years is vital as it builds critical thinking, resilience, and problem-solving skills through natural curiosity.
By exploring how things work, not just memorising facts, children develop scientific habits like observing, questioning, and testing ideas.

Our play-based approach teaches them that mistakes are part of learning, boosts their vocabulary, and establishes a positive, lifelong relationship with discovery and the world around them πŸ§‘β€πŸ”¬
