On Saturday Alex Cookson Y11 competed in the Diving Competition representing the School in the Seniors Age Group. He will now be going on to the London Aquatic Centre in December to compete against the other regions in the National Competition. We wish him the best of luck!

Year 7 have made some wonderfully creative 3D cells for their Science homework, made from all sorts of materials including wool, Lego and even chocolate! We are very impressed, a lot of thought has obviously gone into them!🤩
The girls were on top form last night with the U13 footballers scoring an incredible number of goals to win their match ⚽️whilst the Year 10s came 3rd in the District Netball Tournament🏀. Well done all 🤩
Year 9 students have been learning about and practising life-saving CPR skills during their PSHE lesson today.
A group of Year 8 keen readers have been selected for possible literacy leadership roles as they progress through school. The 'Reading Champions' meet regularly in the library at break time and will be ‘championing reading’ to reluctant readers in Year 7 through displays, talking to them in tutor time and assemblies.

This week we welcomed local colleges and training providers into school to 'kick- start' the Year 11's research on their post-16 options.
Students had the opportunity to speak to representatives from the Army, Pulse Training Academy, ASK Apprenticeship Providers, Farnborough Sixth Form College, FCoT, BCoT and Activate Learning.
We were also joined by Kelly Wales from RFEA who can offer support to our military families.

A busy sporting evening yesterday with great results. The U13 Girls Football hit 9 v Alderwood and the Year 9 boys also ran out 7-2 winners against a spirited Alderwood side. ⚽️⚽️ Meanwhile we had over 60 girls and boys at Netball Club!🏀

We were very excited to start up a new club for Year 9 students this week. The Special FX Club enables students to practise and learn creative theatrical make-up skills. Well done all, this looks great fun!
Badminton Club has continued to go from strength to strength, becoming a very popular session. The Club is held on Mondays after school in the Sports Hall. We look forward to welcoming as many Year 7-11 students as possible in the coming weeks.🏸

We would like to invite you to join us for a Service of Commemoration for her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II to be held at the Royal Garrison Church of All Saints, Aldershot from 4pm to 5pm on Sunday 18 September.
The special civic service, organised by the council and the Aldershot Garrison, will celebrate the life and remarkable service given by The Queen to the country with readings and music.
The service will be attended by the Mayor of Rushmoor, military representatives, representatives from Rushmoor Borough Council and the Member of Parliament for Aldershot.
Everyone is very welcome to attend, but please be aware that numbers will be limited to 1200 inside the church.
If you would like to attend, we would recommend walking up to the church. There will also be security checks at the entrance. Please don’t bring any large bags, and if you do bring a bag, be prepared for it to be searched.

We're on a roll! ...After a first half to forget, the Yr9 boys stepped it up in the final 20mins to claw themselves back from 0-1 down to win 2-1 & progress in the Hants Schools FA Cup at Thornden on Wednesday.
Our U13 girls also had a fantastic start to the season yesterday, scoring 7 goals to be comfortable winners in their first match against Fernhill. Great team efforts, well done all!⚽️⚽️

Another victory, this time for the Year 8 boys! After trailing 2-1 at one point, they turned it all around to claim a 2-4 victory at Courtmoor yesterday. Well done yellows!
A good start for the Year 9 boys away at Kings last night registering a 5-0 win in their opening league game whilst the Year 7 boys put up a real fight against Salesian in their debut match losing 3-2. Well done all ⚽️⚽️
Remembering the Queen:
The whole school held a 2 minute silence this morning following an extended tutor time during which we shared a presentation on the life of Queen Elizabeth II in order to begin a period of mourning and commemoration of her life. We will be marking her death in various ways over the coming weeks as guided by DfE and the Government.
