We were delighted to be awarded £1000 from Rushmoor Community Fund to improve an area of our grounds and to install a ‘Happy to Chat’ seating area.
Wavell is feeling the love in the Main Hall today💕♥️💞💗 Our catering team HC3S Education Catering have produced a wonderful display whilst our Valentine Heart Competition entries are also on show awaiting judging!
Interested in Teaching? Our teacher training partners are holding a 'Get into Teaching' Coffee Morning at Weydon School on 26th February.
For the last few weeks, Year 11 Health and Social Care students have been learning about First Aid. This culminated in a practical lesson where they were able to practice the chest compression element of CPR on dummies. Their efforts were accompanied by songs which are suggested for the required rhythm for chest compressions such as Staying Alive and Nellie the Elephant!
To get the chest to ‘click’ was harder than originally thought and proved how CPR is a tricky skill master! Well done to everyone for a brilliant effort and a fun (but extremely useful) lesson.
Wavell had the honour of opening the show at the Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation Festival at South Hill Park Arts Centre last night and they attacked the show with energy and passion. We are very proud of you all 😊🎭
We currently have a vacancy for a full-time Receptionist. Please visit our website for further details if you are interested in joining the Wavell family. https://www.wavellschool.org.uk/About/Job-Opportunities/
We currently have vacancies for a Learning Support Assistant and Design & Technology Technician. Please visit our website for further details... https://www.wavellschool.org.uk/About/Job-Opportunities/
Best of luck to our Year 9 and 10 students who are taking part in the UK Mathematics Trust Intermediate Challenge this morning 🤞🍀
Tickets for our version of Romeo & Juliet at the Shakespeare Schools Festival on 9th February at Southhill Park Arts Centre Bracknell are now available. Please do come along and support our amazing cast of 2022! Book here https://bit.ly/33yDzfG
We are really pleased to let you know we had 2 more winners in the Rushmoor Community Lottery on Saturday. One of them was our very own receptionist Mrs Lloyd who we are all convinced will scoop the top prize of £25,000 next week! Get involved at... https://www.rushmoorlottery.co.uk/support/the-wavell-school 😊
