I remember the first time seeing Foo Fighters and blown away by the sheer athleticism of his drumming, you can’t help but be drawn in. He’s undoubtedly inspired a whole generation of drummers young and old to pick up the sticks and give it a thrashing, to us that’s absolutely what it’s all about. Sad day for the drumming community indeed.

Calumn is one of our longest and more senior pupils. He has been working hard on his recent grade 4 and now flying through his grade 5. This piece really showcases how much his feel, improvisation, reading and overall technical ability has shot up in recent months, all due to his consistency and practice . Ready for a band!

Harry has been with us for a fair few years now and is only in year 5 currently sitting his grade 4 exam. You can see clearly that he has technical and improvisation skills above his age. The months of hard work and practicing rudiments show in this short and technical piece! This is a great example of passion and dedication to practice. It starts here and builds to playing those big shows, big venues later! 🥁
