With results days approaching, many young people may be feeling excited, nervous or uncertain about what comes next.

Whatever the outcome, results do not define the whole learner. Sometimes results mean a change of plan - a resit, different qualification or alternative pathway can open up a new way forward.

A calm conversation, a trusted relationship and the reassurance that there are still options can make all the difference. Every journey looks different. What matters is that each learner feels supported to take their next step with confidence.

Stuck for Inclusive Mainstream Funding (IMF) ideas? Summer Provision could be a practical place to start.

A partnership with Fleet Education Services is built to help schools, MATs and local authorities deliver support that is inclusive by design, with a focus on belonging, attendance and engagement.

As you consider how to use your IMF, Summer Provision offers a valuable opportunity to strengthen support before the new academic year. It is designed to help learners with commonly occurring, predictable needs stay connected, build confidence and return ready to engage in September.

The summer holidays can be especially challenging for learners who struggle with attendance, including those experiencing Emotionally Based School Absence (EBSA).
Without the routine of school, anxiety about returning in September can increase, making re-engagement more difficult.

Our Attendance Mentors work with learners and families throughout the summer, helping your learners to maintain routines, build confidence and overcome barriers to attendance. Through tailored one-to-one support, mentors help learners feel more prepared and positive about returning to education.

Why Fleet this summer?

Currently, our learner attendance sits at ~80%*, compared with just 57% nationally in state-funded Alternative Provision. The difference? Our approach.
Summer Provision should do more than fill a gap - it should keep learners engaged, supported and moving forward.

Our Summer Provision brings together tuition, mentoring, and wider learner support across the school holidays - delivered online or in person, one-to-one or in small groups, and tailored to need.

If you’re planning support over the 6-week break for learners who need academic tuition, mentoring, or both, we can help you put the right provision in place.
