I have worked in childcare for over 10 years. My first role was as a volunteer at a special needs school, then I worked at a setting as an assistant for 2 years working my way up to be the setting manager/supervisor. Qualifications

Today we made bread, we read what we should do to make our bread. We used our hand to mould and kneed the dough. We of course washed them first to get rid of germs. We then baked, spread our butter and taste tested yum!

What shall we cook today?

We have used real food, can we describe how they feel? What yhey look like?Are they heavy? Which one is the heaviest/lightest? Can we find a recipe we like in our cook books? Why do we like that recipe? Can we describe our likes and didlikes?Can we hold the book the right way up? Turn the pages?
So much to learn with this activity as well as object placement,bilateral coordination and showing what we take in in our real everyday lives /environmental.

After seeing a fox in at wisley gardens last week, and having some very good recall about the gruffalo and the fox that was in it. The children helped to gather the animals from the story do they could reenact it. By doing this we are investigating what happens next in the story? can we turn the pages carefully? Can we name the animals? Can we discribe the animals and their environment?
