For anyone waiting for the footage of the incident with a bronze Tesla. I am currently not allowed to share this footage as I have sent it to the Police.

It's Friday, so whilst most people are enjoying the start to another scorching weekend, I have decided to go down the rabbit hole of the DVSA's failing standards, duplicitous attitude and behaviour. And boy does their spin make you dizzy!

Congratulations to Jonas who has passed his test today at Farnborough DTC with 2 driver faults recorded.

What must have been a lovely drive, left the examiner reaching for their pass certificates and leaving us with our smiles.

Well done Jonas, keep it safe, watch out for those idiots (special thanks to the Tesla driver who was on the wrong lane, and cut me up when I was taking Jonas home - video to follow when I get the time).

A second test and another pass in the same day for Mitchell Driving School! This is Charlie, who passed his Test 1st time with only 3 minor faults. Charlie lives near us and already has his own car so I expect a wave from him! His first drive will be to work which will be so liberating. Charlie is the 2nd of 3 brothers I've taught and there's one more to go. See you out on the roads and congratulations! 🚗🎉🚦👏

Sorry for being so quiet. A lack of tests, and a much deserved and needed holiday ⛱️🌞😎 have been happening.

Congratulations to Katie who passed her test this morning at Farnborough DTC on her first attempt, with a solid drive and a single driver fault recorded.

A very happy examiner filled out her pass certificate and left with a smile.

Well done Katie, I knew you could do it. Take care and see you soon for that Motorway lessons.

What a great use of technology. Drink 🍸 drivers will soon lose the time travelling to the Police Custody suite where their blood alcohol levels could drop and then they're free to repeat their behaviour.

🚔 Merseyside Police yesterday became the first force in the UK to deploy evidential roadside alcohol-testing technology, helping detect and deter drink-driving among motorists returning from holidays. ✈️🍺

Previously, drivers who failed an initial roadside breath test had to provide an evidential sample in custody, often several hours later. With the new technology, officers can now obtain an evidential roadside sample and charge suspected drink-drivers immediately. ✅

This removes the possibility of a driver's alcohol level dropping while waiting for a test in custody, allowing swifter enforcement and helping keep dangerous drivers off the roads. 🚗⚖️

The technology was introduced as part of Operation Take Off, which targeted motorists returning from holidays who may have consumed alcohol before or during their journey home. ✈️🚔

The initiative was dedicated to the memory of eight-month-old Zackary Blades and his aunt, Karlene Warner, who were tragically killed in May 2024 by a driver who left Newcastle Airport nearly three times over the legal alcohol limit. 💙

Alongside the new evidential breath-testing equipment, officers also began trialling new technology designed to improve the detection of drivers suspected of using nitrous oxide behind the wheel. 🚨🔬

Merseyside Police reminded motorists that there is no excuse for drink or drug driving and that those who choose to take the risk can now be dealt with even more quickly. 🚫🍺🚫💊

What a lovely surprise I had this morning heading off for work. Even more so that the local foxes hadn't liberated them... they must have known the card and chocolates on my doorstep were not for them.

Oscar, what a fine individual he is, passed his test with zero faults at the end of June.

The card is absolutely the best bit, the words really heartfelt. Of course the chocolates run a very close second. Both unexpected, but very much appreciated.

Three, yes three absolutely amazing people, Chloe, Kayden and Alina passing their tests today. Two first time passes, a zero fault pass, and an average of less than two driver faults across them all.
