It’s amazing how much can change in just a few weeks. 🎶

At the start of term, children might be picking up their instrument for the first time or meeting their bandmates. A few sessions later, they’re playing together, listening to each other and beginning to find their sound as a band.

Learning an instrument is just one part of being an iRocker. 🎸

Every week, children make music alongside their bandmates, learning to listen, encourage each other and celebrate what they achieve together. And somewhere between learning the chords, practising the songs and preparing for concerts, friendships grow too. 💙

Qualifications without the pressure of traditional exams? 🎓🎸

Throughout the year, their progress is assessed as part of their normal iRock lessons, giving them the opportunity to achieve a recognised music qualification awarded by RSL Awards, a globally-recognised awarding body, regulated through Ofqual. 🏆
