Stanford in the Vale Pre-School We pride ourselves on providing a warm and caring environment within which all children can learn and develop as they play.

Stanford in the Vale Pre-school welcomes children of pre-school age (term before age three until moving on to Foundation Stage classes at Primary School) from Stanford and the surrounding area. The Pre-school offers our children a broad range of interesting and educational activities within the setting, in addition to events outside the setting. These can include walks around the village, visits t

o the nearby playground and outings to local amenities. The children may also enjoy visits from the local policeman, hygienist and also any parents who wish to come in and talk about their occupation. Our staff members are experienced, caring and highly dedicated individuals whose understanding of the children and the community to which they belong is unquestionable. They strive to ensure that each child enjoys being a part of the Stanford Pre-school ‘family’. Additionally, the professionalism of the staff enables parents to feel confident about their ability to provide the best possible care and education for the children entrusted into their charge. As a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance (PSLA), Stanford Pre-school aims to provide the highest quality education and care for all our children. We aim to offer a welcome to each individual child and family and to provide a warm and caring environment within which all children can learn and develop as they play.

🎾 Tennis Tots with Tom! 🎾
Our children absolutely love their tennis sessions with Tom – they have so much fun while building confidence, coordination and new skills each week!
Tom has now started Saturday drop-in sessions at the Marcham Centre, and we’re delighted to share the booking link with you:

There are currently two Saturdays listed, and sessions will be running twice a month going forward.
If your little one enjoys our preschool tennis sessions (or would love to give tennis a try!), this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved outside of preschool too.

Classes for 2-4 year olds and their parents. Tennis-focussed classes to explore a variety of skills through storytelling.

Think you can defeat glitter, fingerprints, and the occasional Play-Doh invasion? Stanford in the Vale Pre-School is looking for a reliable, trustworthy cleaner – just 1 hour a day, 5 days a week (term time only).
