Budding chefs for this months theme healthy eating.

The children have had a great day celebrating pancakes!
We have role- played shops filling our basket with all the ingredients we would need for our pancakes using a picture shopping list.
The children have listened to a demonstration on how to make pancakes using role play toys before having a go themselves.
The children took turns to make a lots of batter for pancakes for everyone, recalling what they could remember from the demonstration. There was lots of excitement when we tried to flip the pancakes!
The children have chopped up there fruit fillings and made choices on what filling they would like on their pancakes before eating them up.
Finally we made a recipe book so we can show mummies and daddies, hopefully to make some at home.
