I’ve been thinking about the ripple effect lately…

The kind word. The introduction that led somewhere. The encouraging conversation you weren’t expecting. We rarely know the impact of these small moments, but they add up to something bigger than we realise.

This community continues to grow because of exactly that… word of mouth, one conversation at a time. It really is the heartbeat of everything The Shire Collective is.

So today, a small thank you to every one of you who has shared us, invited a friend, or simply mentioned us over coffee. You are part of the ripple 🧡

It’s been a little quieter over here than usual…

Life has a way of pulling us away from the things we love, even when we don’t mean it to. A few unexpected things came up this week, and this space had to wait its turn. I’m sure you know exactly what that feels like.

Something I perhaps do not mention enough here are my Women’s Circles 🧡

A circle is one of the oldest ways people have gathered - to listen, reflect and support one another.

There is no pressure to speak. No agenda to perform. Instead you will find a gentle space to share exactly as much as feels right for you.

I hold circles for celebrations, friendship groups, organisations and retreats with each one shaped with care and guidance through my training as a Women’s Circles Facilitator and coaching background.

Because somewhere between the to-do list, the emails, and the version of you that is holding everything together, there is a quieter version who just needs a moment.

Not to stop.
Not to fall behind.
Just to breathe.

So today, my gentle invitation is this: give yourself permission to pause. Even for five minutes. Even with the guilt that tries to tell you that you should be doing something else.

You are allowed to slow down and still be building something wonderful.

There’s a particular kind of magic in a room full of women who are quietly changing everything 🧡

Building businesses. Backing each other. Showing up not to compete, but to lift each other higher.

This is what Coffee With Purpose is really about, it’s never just the coffee. It’s the conversations that happen after the small talk. The advice that gets passed across the table. The realisation that you’re not doing this alone.

I am so grateful to each and every one of you incredible that take the time to show up and be there for each other, we are truly building something wonderful.

We will pause the Coffee With Purpose mornings over August but gosh I am already looking forward to seeing you all again in September’s gatherings 🧡

For June, we celebrate our friend Amanda of .social 🧡

One of the most beautiful things about this community is the way women show up for each other - not just in their own businesses, but in how they support the businesses of others. Amanda does this in the most quietly brilliant way.

The ethos of The Shire Collective to me has always been about creating a welcoming community. For women in business. For those taking the steps to move forward.
