There is definitely a shift in the air isn’t there as we move through October, and it brings a feeling of calm, before the storm perhaps, but let’s try and enjoy this peaceful time.

A little personal news from me… I recently married the kindest man, and I’m feeling very blessed 🧡

Thank you to all my lovely shire friends who have sent well-wishes and congratulations.

Finding love again takes huge courage after divorce - it asks you to stay open-hearted, to keep believing in the possibility of something good, and to remember that you are worthy of a love that feels true and kind.

I’ve learned that loving and accepting yourself matters too. Maybe it’s the most important part - when you have lost sight of all that you were….. When you know who you are again and what feels right for you, you can make space for a love that meets you there.

Kindness can be underrated, but it means everything to me. I feel so lucky to have found it in abundance in my husband.

Here’s to second and new chapters, brave hearts and the quiet, everyday kindness that makes love feel like the home you have always longed for 🧡

Hello my lovely friends… Coffee with Purpose is back already (where has the month gone?!) 🧡

Join me in October at one of our three gatherings:

☕ Friday 2nd Oct - Clanfield, Oxfordshire, 11am
*(please note our new later start time!)
☕ Tuesday 6th Oct - Newbury, Berkshire, 10am
☕ Wednesday 7th Oct - Marlborough, Wiltshire, 10am

These mornings are intentionally kept small, so if you’d like to join us, I’d really encourage you to book early, it also helps me enormously with planning. And as always, if life happens and you can no longer make it, just let me know and I’m happy to transfer your place to another date.

Celebrating our Shire Collective friend, Julia of White Horse Festival 🧡

One of the things I love most about this community is being surrounded by women who see something missing, and have the courage to create it.

After 15 years working in music in London, Julia moved back to her birthplace of Wiltshire and noticed something missing — fresh, engaging musical experiences outside the big cities. So last year, she founded the White Horse Festival, a charity bringing music, art, food and dance together for everyone, regardless of musical knowledge.

Just one year on, the second festival is almost here — running 1st–11th October across special venues in north-east Wiltshire, with ten events including ceilidh dancing, live painting to Vivaldi, a black-tie gala opera dinner, and a military band workshop for teenagers.

Julia believes music has the power to bring people together and change lives — and honestly, that feels so aligned with what we value here too: connection, shared experience, and creating something meaningful for others 🧡
