I have taught in prep schools for over 20 years and prepared many children for entrance exams at local schools, particularly in the Oxfordshire area. Perhaps your child just needs a short term boost in a particular skill or topic area? One to one tuition can focus on exactly what your child needs in order to progress. If your child has a strength in English and is ready to learn new skills, I can give them the individual attention they need to extend their knowledge and help them reach their potential. Some children benefit from having a tutor to help them with homework, reading or projects that they cannot find time for at home. I can also offer an assessment service in Reading and Spelling so you can find out what level your child is working at and address their needs in a specific manner. Lessons take place at my home in Faringdon or can be arranged at your home if time slots are available. Sessions (55 mins) are available after school and on Saturday mornnings. Holiday sessions will also available, particularly for those working towards exams who wish to keep up the momentum of their studying. Lessons are booked and paid for on a monthly basis.
