Focus :- Supporting Armed Forces Children - Raffle
We have been kindly donated some fantastic items for a raffle from the NAAFI to help fundraise for our service children across the school.
The NAAFI (which stands for Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes) is a British organisation that provides welfare and recreational services to the UK Armed Forces. From retail to recreation, they provide vital services to Ministry of Defence locations to support UK Forces communities around the world. They have the capability to deploy exercise and operational support anywhere the Armed Forces need them around the world. You may be familiar with the Bridge Deck which is ran by the NAAFI in Whiteley. Located in Solent Business Park in the heart of Whiteley, the cosy and welcoming spot by the lake offers a wide range of hot and cold drinks along with delicious food. Children of armed forces personnel face unique challenges that can significantly impact their lives. These challenges include frequent relocations, the stress of having a parent deployed in potentially dangerous situations, and so much more.
