Due to the high temperature warning, our planned student work showcase on Thursday 25 June has been cancelled.

But there's no need to miss out... the showcase will instead be joining our Summer Fair on Saturday!

Join us to experience student talent, including live music, exhibitions of art, photography and graphics, film screenings, gaming sessions, and Hair & Beauty demonstrations.

All this alongside our planned Summer Fair activities - bouncy castle, gift stalls, face painting, ice cream and more.

We remain open to support you in finishing your qualifications! Your safety and wellbeing are our top priorities, so here is how to stay cool and look out for each other:

💧 Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water and carry a refillable bottle. Limit caffeine and energy drinks.

👕 Dress Clever: Wear light, loose, breathable clothes. Don’t forget your sunscreen and a hat!

🏫 Use Cool Spaces: Take breaks in shaded areas, the Library, LRCs, or well-ventilated common rooms.

🍉 Eat Light: Opt for lighter meals and hydrating snacks like fruit and veg.

🚨 Look Out For Each Other: Know the signs of heat exhaustion (dizziness, headaches, heavy sweating). If someone seems confused, has hot/dry skin, or loses consciousness, this could be heat stroke - call for urgent medical help immediately.

If you have any concerns about attending college during the hot weather, please reach out to your teacher or tutor.

Thinking about a career as a nail tech or ready to build your beauty skills further?

Our Level 3 Nail Technology course helps you develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence to take your next step in the industry.

This is a 28-week course designed to get you industry-ready in less than a year.

You’ll cover manicure and pedicure techniques, acrylic and gel polish, silk wraps, tip application and sculpting, pink and white French, 3D nail art and coloured acrylic, as well as electric filing. You’ll also build your understanding of health and safety, client care, business skills, anatomy and physiology.

An inspiring day at the Clarins head office! A group of our Beauty students recently had the exciting opportunity to complete the Clarins College Programme.

They travelled to London for a packed day of training, including learning about the luxury brand and its products, and performing a facial treatment using signature Clarins techniques. 💆

🌠 Students also enjoyed a talk about career opportunities and interview process, leaving them motivated to apply for future roles with the brand.

Our Level 3 Extended Diploma students in Sport & Exercise Science had a fantastic time at the University of Chichester's Sport Science Taster Day!

They explored university life and enjoyed hands-on experiences with physiology testing, performance psychology, and football coaching drills.

The group’s enthusiasm was contagious, earning them high praise from Chichester’s lecturers for their engagement.

A big thank you to the University for such an inspiring day! 🌟
