Even as a little girl I wanted to help unwanted animals. My previous career as a Teacher truly reflected my want to care and support others of all walks of life. Within 2 years of starting my teaching career I received my first promotion. This was the start of many promotions to come. These, I has worked hard for. Nothing was new there though as my own educational experience was one of digging dee
p to get my qualifications as school, particularly maths (yuk), was a labour some chore. However even though I found that with promotions came more money (which I quickly spent), I naively did not realise that my job descriptions were subject to such change and hence working harder for no recognition and no development. So for me, what started out as a loved career was turning into a scenario of dreading Sunday evening, hating the alarm clock, a fear of failing, a lack of motivation and a ‘I can’t give a **** attitude.’
Having had such a positive impact on students and staff the tide had turned. As a result of suffering from a nervous breakdown I started to question what was important in life. I certainly knew that I could not sustain an 80-hour working week until I was 67! So when you are rock bottom there is only one way up – or so I thought…
Life threw many more curveballs at me, which tested my strength, my resilience and my beliefs. I got better, I fell back, I got better, I fell back. That was the pattern. So I began searching for a way to have more time, freedom and money to live a life on my terms so that if I had a blip I did not have to phone in sick or feel a failure again. I was no longer happy with some of the sacrifices life was asking me to make. The feeling of being overwhelmed, of being useless of being a failure was just awful and at times debilitating. I just knew I had not fulfilled my potential on my terms. It was my time to make a change and if change is what you are seeking then lets chat as I can offer you the choice to build an income, to develop your own team, or, like me, support and mentor to build a national and international business that will harness, develop and reward you in so many ways, working either full or part-time, flexibly around family and current commitments. The phenomenal thing about this business is that you do not need any previous experience. It really is about where you want to go in life, not where you have come from that counts. So as Sir Richard Branson says – If someone offers you an amazing opportunity and you’re not sure you can do it, say yes and then learn how to do it later.
