The Ardeche 2026 trip came to an end with a 2 day, 30km kayak down the Ardeche river. Pupils showed determination and resilience throughout the descent, which included tackling several rapids and taking part in some rock jumps.

It’s been a fantastic first day on the river!! Pupils faced rapids and rock jumps and had a fantastic time. We have all made it to the overnight bivvy, ready for the night under the stars!

We’ve had a brilliant first couple of days here in the Ardeche. Yesterday was jam packed with pupils enjoying high ropes in the morning followed my archery and a well deserved swim in the afternoon (as well as celebrations for a couple of birthdays!) Today was spent on the flumes and lazy river at Wave Island. Pupils are looking forward to canyoning before preparing for our descent down the Ardeche River.

After a long journey, Ardeche 2026 has arrived safely and out accommodation. Pupils had a well deserved swim upon arrival before an evening of games! High ropes tomorrow!

Soul Band played their final performance of the year at Baycroft’s BayFest event. This was the last performance with some longstanding members who have been committed to the band for up to three years. We thank them for sharing their talents with us and wish them all the best in the future.
