Today marks the end of an era for Park Out of School Club.

For 12 fabulous years, we’ve supported generations of Crofton Anne Dale and Crofton Hammond children, from early morning smiles to relaxed after school fun. We all have so many memories which we will treasure forever.

Yesterday, we held a goodbye party with our current school club children. We played party games, sang, and danced to our favourite songs 🎶. It was a beautiful way to close this chapter.

We wish all our families the very best for the future.

*Important News Regarding Park Out of School Club*

It is with a heavy heart that we write this.

Park out of School Club opened in 2014 and has been successfully running for 12 years. We have seen many children from the nursery continue to grow throughout their school years as well as new faces along the way and it has been a joy to watch them all develop into the wonderful children they all are today.

Since Crofton Hammond and Crofton Anne Dale both opened up their before and after school clubs, due to their competitive session charges, their ability to promote their services early on during the school registration process and the general easiness for parents to have their child in the same place for the whole day, we have had to fight hard to keep the numbers of children on our register in order to keep our before and after school club running. Unfortunately, the time has come where our numbers are now so low, it has become financially impossible to continue running.

We will continue to see this school year to the end but it is with huge disappointment to have to announce that Park Out of School Club will close its doors and will not reopen for the Autumn term 2026.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all our wonderful families for your loyalty, kindness, and support over the last 12 years. Many of you entrusted us with your children from their nursery days, and it has truly been an honour to be part of their journey.

Park out of School Club are looking for a reliable and conscientious play worker to join our fantastic team.

Main responsibilities and duties:

-Planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe caring environment.
-Providing comprehensive care for the children including taking them and collecting them from school and delivering them to their parents.
-Providing support and supervision to playworkers.
-Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
-Administering first aid when necessary.
Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
-Facilitating effective communication with all members of the Out of School Club, staff, parents, children and schools.

Dear Parents/Carers

As of Monday 19th July, the community centre will be opening their front doors after 9am. All children who arrive before 9am will be able to enter the community centre via the side door adjacent to the car park. Drop off and collection after 9am will be via the main entrance of the community centre.

We ask that nursery parents/carers drop off and collect their children at the nursery doors and school club parents/carers to drop off and collect at the bottom of the stairs.

Happy New Year everyone! We hope it will be a healthy and happy one. We will be reopening on Monday 4th January. Due to the new tier 4 restrictions in Stubbington, the community centre will remain closed to the public. Therefore, we request that you use the nursery garden door to drop off and pick up your child/children. If you have any questions please let us know.
