She is a member of the Musicological Society of Australia and International Council of Traditional Music. Oyuna has spoken and published academic papers on such topics as piano pedagogy, music analysis, ethnomusicology and central Asian music, dance and theatre in their social environment. Her academic research has been published in highly ranked journals and she has given addresses at international conferences in Ireland, Sydney and Adelaide. Oyuna has been teaching piano and music analysis for nearly 20 years. She has performed and recorded in various concerts and television station in Sydney, Melbourne and Beijing. As a piano educator, she aims to develop students’ strength and to help them to explore their expression and creativity, which allows them to grow not only as a pianist but also as an artist.
