HAPPY FATHERS DAY FOR SUNDAY!
Happy Fathers Day to our wonderful Dads, Grandads and those amazing people who step into the role.
The children have shown great pleasure creating their cards this week.
They had options to use stickers, cut pictures out, draw their very own pictures, or use all three to create their own beautifully individual designs.

The zoo has been added to.
The children have created two rainbow crocodiles! But, unfortunately their teeth are green. I have been reliably informed, this is because they did not brush their teeth properly!
The children are also creating a tree for the zoo. We have leaves and butterflies. There is an interest in spiders. So they may be added soon too!

Following on from last week's creation of an amazing giraffe, the children decided to give it some companions.
We now have a zebra, am elephant, a penguin and a reindeer!
A pig and Santa are also under construction!
It has been amazing, watching the children work together and problem solve to make their creations.

Happy birthday Sir David Attenborough!
We have had been doing so much in preschool this week, but in honour of Sir David Attenboroughs birthday we will share our investigations into creatures big and small.
One of the children found out how long a giraffes tongue is, so this led to further investigation.
Did you know?
* A giraffes tongue is 50cm long.
* The tongue Is grey to stop it getting sun burnt
* We have seven bones in our neck and so do giraffes.
* A giraffe can get to 5 metres tall. That is the length of our preschool and we are not that tall!
We have been watching snails in our garden.
And! We have baby great t**s in our bird box! If we are really quiet, we can hear the babies!
