WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR A NEW TEAM MEMBER!
Little Duckies childminding is a busy setting based in Fareham.
As our current Level 3 apprentice approaches her finish date we are on the lookout for a new apprentice Level 2/3. to join our team. Monday-Thursday 07:30-17:30. This position would best suit someone with a passion for working with children and helping them develop. And must be a fun and physically fit. Previous experience is a benefit as well as a DBS (on update service)

Hello 👋🏼 I'm Michelle and I own Bright Starts Phonics & Beyond. I'm a qualified teacher of 12 years. My teaching passions include phonics, reading and writing. 📚✏️ I've been a tutor for 5 years now and I really enjoy being able to support young learners (4-11 years) reach their potential through tailored and targeted 1:1 support. 🌟 I have decided to extend my capacity and I started this page to reach local families who may not be aware that targeted support is available for young learners who are developing their reading and writing skills.

I can help learners:
⭐develop their reading skills - through phonics based games and activities, targeting their specific gaps
⭐learn to read through whole word recognition when phonics hasn't worked (it isn't for everyone!)
⭐explore the meaning of texts and improve their comprehension
⭐gain confidence in their writing skills - spelling, sentence structure, developing vocabulary dependent on the topic and style of writing
⭐feel confident in their abilities and build a love for reading and writing

I have experience supporting learners with additional needs in both my professional and personal life. Those with:

can be supported through an individualised approach to learning. One size DOES NOT fit all.

I want all young learners aged 4-11 to feel empowered in their learning and to feel confident in their abilities.
