Begonias now. This job never ends and one has to keep up with the plants. Here's how begonias are done.

Here's a big dibber if ever it has been seen...
It predates Leydene Garden Nursery and was possibly owned by a worker on Lady Peel's estate. Lady Peel owned the land that was requisitioned to become HMS Mercury and is now housing and other private land.

Petunia (surfina variety) is being plugged and potted. It's a very busy time of year and lots of plants are all requiring some form of attention in order to bring the best quality to customers. Long days but nice in the sun.

The tomatoes have germinated and the sweet peas are growing nicely (available on MP).

This year's tumbling cherry tomatoes are in the germination process. Potting will happen in around 2 to 3 weeks.

Begonias and geraniums for the summer are in pots but not ready for sale as they need to grow towards maturity.

The tomato house is up and running and hopefully in a few weeks, tomatoes will be for sale by the bag as usual. Also, the polyanthus and primroses are still available and for sale.
The first trusses have showed themselves and have been pollinated.

Winter is now here, the tomatoes have gone and next year's are being thought about. Clearing the old tomatoes out is tedious and task but necessary.

Next year's lavender is being prepared for sale but not yet. The variety is the hardy hidcote and suited to the UK's climate.
You may also see that there's plenty of indoor cyclamen and outdoor hardy cyclamen for sale. The indoor variety is in flower and just right for bringing some colour to the house.
Thanks for looking...
