🐣And so, another busy holiday has flown by! We took a little train trip to Royal Victoria Country Park, visited the library, soft play and sandpit as well as our usual parks. Are you looking for the perfect World Book Day costume without the cost? Come along to our Costume Swap and give pre‑loved outfits a new life!

💛Bring in a clean, good‑condition costume your child no longer needs.
💚Swap it for a “new‑to‑you” outfit for this year’s celebrations!
💛No costume to donate? No problem — you are welcome to take a costume and make a small donation to the library if you wish!

It’s eco‑friendly, budget‑friendly, and a great way to share the joy of reading.

🌟This week we've been busy celebrating all things Carnival of Venice and pancake related, painting , crafting, dancing as well as getting out every day despite the weather 🌧️💦🥳!

We've had so much fun this week! We've used upside down goggles, made jars of happiness, experimented with tie dying, made zombie jelly, ginger cookies, cheese scones and so much more... It's been lovey seeing the children laugh and play together so happily 🎃👻🥰

🌟This week we have been looking at stories that celebrate our differences, picking blackberries, learning our parent's phone numbers off by heart, a trip to the library and lots more! Take a look at our photos to see some of the other things that we have been doing...

📣📣☀️Fareham Library is VERY Excited to be taking part in Fareham's Big Weekend which is taking place over the weekend of the 12th/13th July! 📣📣☀️

Saturday 12th July is a very special day for us (and definitely one to note in your diaries!) as it marks the beginning of our highly anticipated, Summer Reading Challenge 2025!!! 🎉🎉

To celebrate and to kick the challenge off in style, we have a number of exciting activities taking place both inside AND outside of the Library! 😃

Join us inside Fareham Library for a special Story Garden themed Storytime session at 11am, fun crafting activities, an exciting bear trail, Lego/Duplo and the most important destination in the Library this Summer...….. The Summer Reading Challenge sign up station! 😃🎉

We are also running special outdoor Rhymetime/Storytime session over in the gardens of Westbury Manor, on the hour between 11am - 3pm! 🪇

Outside in the Civic Gardens we have a mini bookmark craft, games, free giveaways, and the start of the 'bear' trail that leads into the library! The café will also have outdoor seating for you to rest and enjoy a refreshment after all the fun activities!

We cannot wait to see you all and for you to start enjoying the Summer Reading Challenge 2025!! 😃
