Thank you to Mott MacDonald Innovative Engineering for visiting the year 5 children to support their bridge learning.

The children enjoyed meeting the architects, building and testing out bridges on a large scale.

🎶 Year 4 had a fantastic day at Fareham Live taking part in Hampshire Music Service’s Primary Proms – Celebrate in Sound! They enjoyed performances from talented youth ensembles, sang alongside local schools, and experienced the excitement of live music. We are incredibly proud of how well they represented our school with their enthusiasm, excellent behaviour and appreciation of the musicians. Well done, Year 4! 🎵

The role is for 2 hours per day, Monday - Friday from 7am – 9 am ideally, or 6am - 8am if you have school drop off to work around.

The Year R children had a visit from a Firefighter and a Paramedic this week, talking to the children about their important roles supporting the community. The children had a fantastic time trying on uniforms and learning about their jobs. They even got chance to explore an ambulance, even getting the chance to see the lights and sirens in action.

Last week our school councillors joined together to do some clearance work for Harrison's new sensory garden. Together they managed to make a great start on making the site ready for some ground work to happen. 🌳🎋

Their next job is going to be looking at what items are going to be put into the garden and making a shopping list so they can get the ball rolling. They have already worked together to create some designs for what the whole area will look like and are ready to get even more hands on when it comes to painting and planting.
