Student Success Story: Bryn

An outstanding set of results for Bryn, who achieved Grade 9s in Biology, English Language, English Literature, Geography and Spanish, alongside Grade 8s in Chemistry, Maths and Physics and a Distinction* in Sport.

What an achievement, well done Amelia! 👏

🎉 Our next CMST Pupil of the Month is Amelia! 🎷🎶

Amelia is an enthusiastic and dedicated musician who continues to go from strength to strength. After winning at the Camborne Music Festival in 2024 and progressing through three rounds of the Rotary Young Musician competition, she has continued to challenge herself and develop her playing.

She has since taken up the tenor saxophone, is keen to learn the flute, and performs with both the Falmouth School Jazz Band and Carrick Breeze. Her playing and sight-reading have made fantastic progress over the past year, and she is even using her musical talents towards the skills section of her Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award! 🌟

A huge congratulations to Amelia on this well-deserved recognition. We can't wait to see where her musical journey takes her next! 👏🎵

Student Success Story: Flo

Incredible success for Flo, who achieved an outstanding eight Grade 9s, including a double Grade 9 in Combined Science, as well as Grade 9s in English Literature, French, Geography, History, Maths and Statistics. Flo also achieved a Grade 8 in Further Maths and a Distinction* in Music.

Congratulations to Coel on a superb set of results, including a Grade 8 in History, a Grade 7 in Combined Science and Distinctions in both Engineering and Sport.

Coel’s mum said: “We are absolutely so proud of him. It’s wonderful to see all of his hard work rewarded and to be able to celebrate everything he has achieved today.”

Next steps: continuing on at Falmouth VI Form to study Engineering.
