Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to today. ‘Magic of Movement: Automata and the Memory Cafe’ is a lovely interactive exhibition to explore and they provided a wonderful opportunity to create our own piece of movement art.

This week we welcomed a little bit of spring into the home with some beautiful tulips and used them as the inspiration for the Mother’s Day cards the little ones created for their Mummies. Wishing you all a very special, restful day with your little people.

Celebrating St Piran’s Day with our friends. We have paraded through town with the local schools for many years but sadly this year there was no parade in Falmouth. Organised by a lovely childminder in our locality, we enjoyed a morning of parading, singing and a fabulous flag hunt.

We have been celebrating this week by bringing in our favourite books from home to share with our friends. So many wonderful stories shared.

The sun made an appearance this weekend and it finally feels like spring is on the way. Cleaning, sorting and re-arranging some of our indoor resources. Ready to welcome everyone back for a new week. With a visit to the new family hub for the childminder drop in session, World Book Day and St Pirans Day - it’s a busy week ahead.

Half term fun with the animals today. A morning visit to Castle Brea Farm to bottle feed the calf’s and cuddle the guinea pigs. Then we visited Life at the Green Patch this afternoon to meet the chicks.

✨ Outdoor play space ✨

I am so pleased with how this little corner of the garden has turned out. Lots of our outdoor resources displayed in a space which the children can access freely allowing them to make independent choices and extend their own play ideas.

Moving the construction resources into the new shed has allowed us to create a ride on storage space in the smaller shed.

It was so lovely to have some snippets of sunshine last week and I am looking forward to lots more time in the garden.
