“We decided if the landscape doesn’t suit us, then we’ll contribute to the landscape directly by making something entirely our own,” shared Loui Cimino, one of the co-founders behind upcoming children’s book publisher, Button Box Books.

As a BA(Hons) Journalism & Creative Writing alumnus, Loui knew he wanted to pursue publishing, and through collaborating with MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management graduate and friend Sally Hodgson, the pair have combined their experience to build their own creative business.

“How practical is your course?” was the one question would ask universities he visited, making sure he would get hands on learning in television and film production. Falmouth Uni has given him just that! During his three years in our BA(Hons)Television & Film Production course, Ollie was able to have hands on experience with industry standard equipment not only for course work, but for freelance projects as well! 🎥🤩
