The English Teacher

The English Teacher Teaching English to individuals, students, business people, children and families. We also specialise in one to one courses for individual doctors and nurses.

We have students who want to learn English for their UK Visa, academic (IELTS, CAE, CFE) and work qualifications (OET, IELTS) conversation, networking and pronunciation. The English Teacher is a company that aims to help improve the English skills of non-native people who choose to live, work or visit the UK. We work with healthcare providers, organisations and Trusts to provide OET preparation fo

r groups. We are pleased and proud to be listed as an OET provider on the official OET website. We help companies and organisations such as hospitality, manufacturing and production with the English language needs of their overseas staff. In addition, we work with management level staff who want to brush up on their Business English, networking and telephone skills. We work with families and individuals on holiday who would like to improve their English. We help prepare students for their English exams, such as the Abitur in Germany or the Berufsreifeprüfung in Austria. In addition, we help younger children with their school English. Most of all we love teaching English! We're looking forward to working with you.

I have great news! We've been awarded Premium Provider Status for OET! This means that we are officially recognised by the OET examining body as providing high quality teaching and materials to our medical professional and nursing students. I'm so excited - cake all round.

The English Teacher is now a Premium Provider of OET, evidencing high quality teaching, materials and curriculum creation.

Yesterday, Cornwall had the honour of being the first leg of the Tour of Britain 8 day cycling race! Starting in Penzance the teams rode their way up the county, ending in Bodmin. We went to watch as they road through Penryn - have a look and see if you can spot our home grown Saint Piran team!
