πŸ₯—πŸ” We are introducing a new process to help more eligible children receive free school meals without families needing to apply.

🍽️ Called the Free School Meals (FSM) Auto Award, it automatically checks whether some children are eligible for free school meals and enrols them if they qualify.

And just like that… it's a wrap on the 2025–2026 academic year. πŸ’™βœ¨

As another school year comes to an end, we reflect on the laughter, learning, friendships, achievements, and special memories we've shared together. Thank you to our wonderful children, families, governors, volunteers, PTA and staff for making this year so memorable.

Today we say a heartfelt goodbye to our incredible Year 6 pupils. It has been a privilege to watch you grow into confident, kind, and resilient young people. We are so proud of everything you have achieved and wish you every success as you begin your next adventure. Remember, you will always be part of our school family. ❀️

We also say farewell to members of staff who are moving on. Thank you for your dedication, care, and commitment to our school community. You will be greatly missed, and we wish you every happiness in the future.

As one chapter closes, another begins. We are excited to welcome our new EYFS children and families, along with new members of staff, when we return in September.

To everyone in our school community, we wish you a summer filled with sunshine, sea, sand, laughter, and unforgettable memories. β˜€οΈπŸ–οΈπŸŒŠ

Thank you for another wonderful year. Have a safe and restful summer, and we look forward to welcoming you all back in September 2026 for another year of learning, laughter, and making memories together. πŸ’™

CSA Victims to get Help to Remove Online Images
Launching this week victims in England and Wales will soon be given more help not only to have their images removed from the internet, but also a wider package of support including trauma support and the possibility of having a victim impact statement read out in court against their perpetrators.

It's called Project Echo and sounds really good; I'm sure survivors will welcome this extra support and it's one for to take note of in addition to the current historic services such as Report/Remove and Take It Down.

πŸŽ‰ Huge congratulations to our very own Gemma Dower, on being awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow Award by the Rotary Club.

The Paul Harris Fellow is one of Rotary's highest honours, named after Rotary International's founder, Paul Harris. It is presented to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service to their community, shown exceptional commitment to helping others, and made a lasting, positive impact through their dedication and generosity.

This is a truly well-deserved recognition of Gemma's tireless work & commitment to supporting our Falmouth Primary children, and the wider community of Kernow Learning teaching colleagues.

Everyone at Falmouth Primary is incredibly proud of this fantastic achievement. Congratulations, Gemma, on receiving such a meaningful honour, and thank you for everything you do to inspire and support those around you. πŸ‘πŸ’™

This afternoon, our football team will be taking part in an exciting Football Cup tournament. We are delighted to welcome teams from King Charles, Mabe and St Francis for a friendly mini-tournament, organised by the Plymouth Argyle coaching team.

We hope this will become an annual event, with the winning team taking home the trophy each year before passing it on to the next champions. We wish all of the teams the very best of luck and, most importantly, hope everyone enjoys an afternoon of teamwork, sportsmanship and fun!
