💛Empty Crisp Packets Wanted!!!💛

Our class have chosen to get involved with this project which has benefits to the environment and helps the homeless.

We want everyone to give us their empty crisp packets so we can send them to The Iron Man down in Somerset so he can make survival blankets for the homeless. Each packet can't be recycled in the normal way because of what they are made of. Instead, they contribute to the greenhouse emissions produced at landfill sites. Did you know it takes 80 years for a crisp packet to decompose?! The Iron Man uses 150 crisp packets to make each survival blanket. The reflective foil inside the packet reflects the heat and keeps the homeless warm and dry. We would love if you could collect your empty crisp packets for the month of November and send them in to school with your child. Thank you!
