On Tuesday 16th December, 4.00–5.30pm, Santa is making a very special visit to our weekly ASN Sensory Session at Polmont Playgroup. ❤️

We’re looking for some wonderful local businesses, organisations or individuals to sponsor Christmas gifts for 15 children attending the session. 🎄✨

Our ASN Sensory Session provides a welcoming, quieter and supportive environment where children with additional support needs can play, explore and enjoy activities at their own pace — and we would love to make Santa’s visit extra special for every child.

🎁 Could you sponsor a child’s Santa gift?

You could sponsor one child, several children, or all 15 if you’re feeling particularly festive! 🎅

Every sponsor will be helping us create a lovely Christmas experience for our ASN children and their families. ❤️

🎉 AMAZING FUNDING NEWS! 💰 FUNDING FRIDAY 💰

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Polmont Playgroup has been awarded £3,000 from The Souter Charitable Trust to provide subsidised playgroup places! 💛

This funding will help ensure that financial pressures do not prevent local children from enjoying the things every child deserves—opportunities to play, learn, make friends and grow in confidence.

For a family facing difficult choices between household essentials and activities for their child, a subsidised place can make a real difference. It means their child can continue attending a familiar, welcoming playgroup while their parent or carer remains connected to our supportive community.

A huge thank you to the trustees of The Souter Charitable Trust for recognising the importance of this work and supporting our local children and families.

We are incredibly grateful—and very excited to put this award to work! 🌈

This little double act has been taking its Tesco Blue Token duties VERY seriously — teamwork makes the dream work! 💙

One on token deployment…

And judging by the growing pile in the bottom, you lovely lot have been busy too! 🙌🔵

Every token for Polmont Playgroup – Breakfast Club for Local Schools helps us towards funding healthy breakfasts for local children. 🥣🍎🍌

We are absolutely delighted to share that our Edinburgh Kiltwalk team — Worst Pace Scenario — raised an amazing £780 for Polmont Playgroup!

A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored Lia, Vanessa, Jenny and Martina, shared our fundraising page, sent encouraging messages and cheered us on. Every donation—large or small—helped us reach this fantastic total.

Your support will help us continue providing affordable activities, opportunities and support for children and families in our local community.

🎉💚 WE’VE BEEN AWARDED £500! 💚🎉

What a lovely email to receive! 🥰

We’re delighted to share that Polmont Playgroup has been selected to receive a £500 donation from the Taylor Wimpey Community Chest! 🏡🌟

And the best bit? This award came from local community nominations! ❤️

Taylor Wimpey invited people in the local area to nominate charities and community groups to receive a share of £1,000 — and enough of you lovely people put Polmont Playgroup forward for us to be selected for £500!

So this is as much a THANK YOU post as it is a celebration. 🥰

💛 And a huge thank you to Taylor Wimpey for investing back into our local community.
