What a show! Paul Thorpe brought his amazing Elvis tribute to Carrondale... the room was absolutely buzzing ❤️

From Suspicious Minds to Blue Suede Shoes, residents and staff were singing and dancing together, loving every minute! Our very own Robert dressed for the occasion, giving Elvis a run for his money! 🌟

Paul made time for those lovely personal moments, taking a hand, sharing a song and making residents feel part of the performance. The smiles in these photos say so much 🥰

A huge thank you, Paul, for bringing such energy to our home. You had us all shook up and we loved it 👏🏻🎶 Paul Thorpe !

🐾❤ When a Memory Becomes a Moment ❤🐾

A photograph in Billy's room caught my eye. Taken around 50 years ago, there was Billy with a beautiful tri-coloured collie called Corrie.

Corrie belonged to his neighbour, but he walked him every day. You could see just how much those memories meant to him ❤️ So, I promised Billy I'd bring Baxter in and we would go for a walk together.

Billy looked at me and said, "And how can I do that?"
Well... like this, Billy. ❤️
With Baxter's lead in his hand, off we went 🦮

The emotion on his face was priceless. For a little while, a memory from half a century ago became part of his life again.

Knowing the person behind the care matters... one conversation, one photograph and one very special dog created a moment that meant the world 🥰

🦜❤ A Little Gift Made From The Heart ❤🦜

Sometimes the most special things don't come from a shop... they're made by someone who simply wants to do something lovely for someone else ❤

Monica loves watching the birds from her window, so we asked the husband of one of our other residents, who loves working with wood and has made some wonderful things for us over the years, if he thought he could make her a bird table.

There was no hesitation - "Absolutely." 🥹❤

And yesterday, Monica finally received it, made especially for her and now sitting pride of place outside her window, where she can watch the birds come and go from the comfort of her room 🦜🪷

It may be a bird table, but to us it's so much more than that. One person giving their time and using something they love doing to bring a little bit of happiness to someone else. That's what makes us the Carrondale family ❤

And for Monica's mum back home in Spain, we wanted you to be able to share this little moment too 🇪🇸❤

A lovely morning out at The Birds and Bees in Stirling, where we joined Alzheimer Scotland for their coffee morning ☕🥰

Our residents had a great morning chatting away, meeting people and enjoying the company of others from across the wider community ❤️

For us, getting out and about is so important - staying connected, meeting new people and continuing to be part of the community around us. And judging by those smiles, I think it's safe to say they enjoyed themselves! 🥰☕❤️ Alzheimer Scotland !

Meanwhile, things were getting a wee bit competitive elsewhere in Carrondale🤣

Our friends from Larbert High School joined residents for a morning of sport, with basketball and curling on the go - and judging by the action, nobody was taking it easy on anybody🤣👏🏻

This is what we love about our intergenerational partnership. It's not about age or ability - it's about getting involved, having a go and enjoying that time together ❤️

Different generations, side by side, learning from each other and simply enjoying each other's company 🥰 Generations Working Together Larbert High School !

There's always time for a cuppa, especially when family come to visit ☕❤️

Our Islay Café was the perfect place for residents and families to sit together, enjoy a cuppa and cake, and simply spend some time together 🥰

No big plans needed... just family, conversation, a cup of tea and time together. And really, that's what our café is all about ❤️ !

Our Stephen headed off for a cruise along the canal, spending his special day with family and friends and of course there had to be birthday cake! 🎂❤️

it really was a lovely day, surrounded by the people who mean the most and making more memories along the way 🥰
