The garden is coming back to life after the winter. The white wood anemones are spreading nicely.

I am very disappointed to see how much litter has been dumped on the wildlife garden in the past few weeks. Some is clearly stuff e.g. clothes and shoes, lifted from black crates left out for collection. There were also half-full baked bean cans, the usual cans and bottles, some in full bags, discarded carpet underlay etc. etc. I have cleared as much as possible - seven bin bags - and would appreciate if it if folk would leave the garden for the wildlife and for residents to enjoy as the spring bulbs start to show.

Unfortunately someone (or several people) have been dumping their garden waste on the garden. I can't clear this on my own, there looks to be a tree stump. I was concerned this would happen once FC started charging to empty brown bins. Just a reminder that the garden looks pretty in the Spring. Nettles were left as they are for butterfly larvae. I'd hoped to plant more bulbs in the autumn, but I can't cope with this amount of garden waste. I've asked my councillor if community payback could assist.

The garden is coming into its Spring glory so pay a visit when the rain stops!

The snowdrops are out and other bulbs on their way. Unfortunately someone recently dumped the waste from the bin by the school gate on the garden, this has now been cleared.

Sticky W***y plant. You may have seen lots of this in the garden but did you know that it is edible?

Bird houses back up. Lots of nettles which are good for butterflies.
