Kelly's Playhouse Childminding

It’s been a while since I’ve updated. In that time we’ve welcomed a new member to our little team and we’ve been having lots of fun here at the Playhouse. We’ve enjoyed celebrating Halloween, Christmas and made some lovely Valentines crafts last week.

We’ve welcomed some new faces to the Playhouse in the last couple of weeks and we’ve had lots of fun being out and about in the sunshine. My timetable is getting pretty full but I still have some spaces available. Please get in touch if you need more info:

It’s been a whirlwind since starting back at school and nursery. We are fully into our routine and enjoying so many fun adventures! We have been to:
🌳 Lots of parks
🎪 Soft play
🏖️ Blackness Castle & Beach
🖼️ Mobile Art Exhibition
🎨 Enjoyed doing some crafts

We have some children moving on to nursery soon and have some preschool and after school spaces opening up. I will post all available spaces later this week so keep an eye out!

The summer holidays are in full swing here at the Playhouse. This week we’ve been to:

We are making the most of the longer days before the school runs start!

It’s been a brilliant 7 months since I’ve reopened the Playhouse. I’ve had such a great time with all my mindees and we’ve welcomed some new wee ones recently too. We’ve been doing lots of fun activities, such as:

I have a waiting list for under 5 (not yet at school) spaces as I am currently full for this age group. I do however have spaces coming up for before and after school for St Andrews Primary only. Get in touch if you need any further details!

⭐️ We are back!! It’s been just under 2 weeks since I’ve reopened and I’ve had a brilliant time getting to know all my new mindees and their families. We have been out to lots of parks, enjoyed playgroup, had some lovely walks, took part in sensory play, been crafty and built amazing sets with Lego. Hope all my Playhouse crew have a lovely weekend and I look forward to seeing you all next week!

It’s been very festive over here at the Playhouse! We have:
🎭 Been to the Macroberts infant panto to see Santa’s Sleigh Light Keeper with lunch at Cadgers Brae afterwards
🥳 Enjoyed the playgroup Christmas party
🍪 Decorated gingerbread biscuits to take home
🐴 Visited Torwood Garden Centre to see the decorations and the rescue donkeys
✉️ Made Christmas cards to send to special people in our life
🎉 Held 2 Christmas parties in the house with lots of tasty food and games including a festive treasure hunt, snowman statues and pin the ears on the elf!

🎃👻 We have had an action packed, spooky week filled with lots of fun. We had two Halloween parties which included dooking for apples, pin the mouth on the skeleton, best dancer and musical statues. There were also prizes, yummy food and treats to take home in the witches cauldrons we decorated last week! See you all next week 👍🏻

We have enjoyed an outdoorsy few weeks here at the Playhouse. Everyone loves the new look Callendar Playpark and it’s fast becoming a favourite! We have also been collecting leaves 🍁 to make autumnal pictures, celebrated a special girls 2nd birthday 🎂, had fun at playgroup and burned off lots of energy at soft play. See you all soon 👍🏻

We are fully back into the swing of school & nursery now. Just a shame that the weather hasn’t been great ☔️ We’ve taken the opportunity to get out and play at the park when we can though. We’ve also been to playgroup and soft play too so plenty of exercise and having fun with our friends. See you all next week 👍🏻
