When you join a karate club, you should join one with deep roots.
Established in 1963, Kobe Osaka was founded by Tommy Morris, Scotland’s very first Black Belt and the widely recognised "Father of Scottish Karate." When you step onto our mats, you are joining a lineage of excellence that has led the way for over 60 years.
🏆 A Foundation of Excellence
We don’t just teach karate; we preserve a legacy of high-standard Shukokai. From the very first white belt to the highest-ranking black belt, our students benefit from a curriculum refined over decades of experience.
🤝 Professional, Friendly, & Fully Equipped
While our history is long, our facilities are modern. We offer a professional, welcoming environment for all ages:
• Mini Thunderbolts & Peewee Ninjas: Early years coordination and discipline.
• Junior Warriors: Building confidence and self-defense skills.
• Adult Classes: Elite fitness and mental focus in a supportive setting.
• The Full-Time Advantage: Train in our dedicated, fully matted centre with a comfortable Members Lounge for families.
✨ Join the Tradition
Whether you want to follow the path to Black Belt or simply improve your fitness and confidence, do it with the club that started it all.
Beginners are always welcome—no experience required.
