Central Taekwondo Academy

British Taekwondo Poomsae Performance Camps give our members the chance to experience elite level training across the UK, with sessions in England, Northern Ireland and Scotland over the next two weeks.

Manchester and Lisburn will play host this weekend, while Grand Master David Bailey is set to have a stellar cast joining him in Falkirk on Sunday 21st June.

With a number of international guests set to be stepping foot onto the mats at the Carronshore Community Centre, it's definitely one not to be missed!

Another fantastic achievement for our Max. After an incredible year of representing GB at major internationals all over Europe, including just last weekend at the Presidents Cup in Germany, Max has been awarded the prestigious Senior Sports Personality of the Year Award at Larbert High School. Max follows in a long line of Central Academy athletes to have received this award, which is the highest sporting accolade from Scotland's biggest High School. Congratulations Max, we are all super proud. 👏👏👏

Last weekend we had four players (Natasha, Peter, Lucy and Katie) representing GB at the G1 London Open Poomsae International on Saturday and the G3 Presidents Cup on Sunday. They performed superbly and showed they were not out of place amongst the world class field. The standout result was from Peter, who won the P21 Para-Poomsae division on both days and also won Gold in the Junior Male Team category.
On Sunday we had eight players competing at the Momentum One to One Match Day in Glasgow. Excellent kyorugi competition experience gained by all. Laura Easton did a great job coaching the team. Gold medals went to Zack, Khawlah, Uraifaan and Harris. Silver medals for Lucas, Archie and first-timers Peter and Hannah.
