It's been a fantastic and busy time for our Hire department over the last few weeks and we've been delighted to support a number of local and further afield productions by providing set, props and costume hire.
For school shows season recently hires have included our custom-made benches for Graeme High School's production of Legally Blonde, a fantastic show featuring many of our students, our lockers from our Fame production for Grease at Erskine Stewart's Melville Schools in Edinburgh, and Bruce's chocolate cake and trolley for Deanburn Primary School's Matilda in Bo'ness
We've also provided our Chicago jail cell bars for Livingston Players All Shook Up and props and items for local Children's Day arches.
We've recently supplied costumes for our friends LAMP's production of Annie in Linlithgow and Kinnaird Primary School's production of Oliver!, helping to costume more than 90 young performers across a sell-out run of the show.
Whether you're producing a musical, play, concert or event, we have a huge treasure trove available to hire at affordable prices. From Matilda to Chicago, Peter Pan to Aladdin, we have something to suit a wide variety of productions and are always adding to our fantastic collection.
Many of our high quality items have been custom-designed and built from scratch or specially sourced and adapted to meet unique show requirements. From bespoke furniture and set pieces to hard-to-find props and era-specific costumes, our collection can help save schools, theatre groups and event organisers both time and money.
We can arrange collection, local delivery and where practical, postage or courier services, helping make hiring from us as straightforward and accessible as possible.
Take a look through our Hire Brochure at http://www.projecttheatre.org/hire, featuring detailed photographs, dimensions and specifications, plus images of many items in use on stage so you can see exactly what you're getting before you hire. You can of course visit our workshop and wardrobe in person too.
We're often happy to negotiate, arrange partner exchanges and offer discounts for schools, charities and community groups wherever possible. We also love recycling, reusing and repurposing items as part of our commitment to theatre sustainability. โป๏ธ
A special thank you to recent hirers who have so kindly made additional donations after being delighted with our items and the service they received. These extra contributions are hugely appreciated and help us maintain and grow our stock for the benefit of the local and wider community. A huge thank you also to our incredible staff and volunteers, whose hard work behind the scenes makes it all possible. ๐

It was an absolute pleasure to attend Larbert High School's Live and Loud show tonight. What a fabulous evening of entertainment, packed with energy, fantastic level of dancing and a very slick, professional production from start to finish.
Featuring excerpts from Legally Blonde, Billy Elliot and Mamma Mia! there really was something for everyone.
A special shoutout to our Senior Youth Theatre student Evan, in the role of Billy Elliot. He was absolutely captivating and gave a brilliant performance. Incredibly proud to see him shine on stage and to see him developing all his performing skills and confidence so much recently.
Well done to everyone involved, both on stage and behind the scenes. The talent in our local schools is truly outstanding and deserves to be celebrated and supported.

The countdown to Grangemouth Childrenโs Day is on! ๐
We're so excited to be taking part in this year's celebrations again and have our fingers crossed for some good weather! ๐คโ๏ธ
On Friday night, we're also delighted to be performing at the arch of our Junior Youth Theatre student, Kai who is this year's Children's Day Herald (and plays Dewey in School of Rock). Check out the fantastic photos of the incredible build - it's absolutely massive - what an effort by Kai's family and friends!
If you're walking around the arches on Friday evening, come and see us from 6.30pm on the stage in Montgomery Street. We'd love to see you there!
Then on the big day itself, on Saturday we'll be onc again joining the procession through the town before performing on the stage following the crowning. We're also looking forward to seeing all of the fantastic performances and entertainment taking place throughout the park during the day.
A special shoutout of course, to another of our Junior Youth Theatre students, Casey-Ann Douglas, who is this year's Children's Day Queen. ๐ We hope you both and all the retinue and children have an absolutely fantastic day and can't wait to celebrate with you all!
Programmes are also now out so make sure you pick one up at one of the places below.
๐ฒ Excitingly, this year you'll also be able to watch the Crowning live from wherever you are via the official livestream: https://shorturl.at/Fjsjx
A big thank you to all of the organisers, volunteers, arch builders and everyone who works so hard behind the scenes to make Grangemouth Children's Day such a special and unique community celebration each year.

TODAY IS OUR OFFICIAL 18TH BIRTHDAY! ๐๐
18 years ago today, we began with our very first ever workshop attended by just 5 children led by an 18 year old Jamie.
Fast forward to today, we're ll grown up and we now work with up to 150 children and young people every week across our Youth Theatre, Stage School, Screen School and other projects. ๐ฅน
What an incredible journey it has been so far.
Thank you to everyone who wrote these wonderful star memories and birthday wishes for us at our 18th Birthday celebration on Saturday. Reading through them has made us incredibly proud, emotional and reminded us exactly why we do what we do. โญ๏ธ
Every memory, every message and every kind word represents a young person, family, volunteer or supporter who is part of our story.
Here's to the next chapter of our Theatre family ๐ฅณ We would love if you could share your memories and wishes too!

Through their fantastic creativity, acting, singing and dancing, our Tots, Kids and Intermediates transported us to tropical islands, pirate ships and exciting adventures. We were so proud of the confidence, imagination and enthusiasm shown by every performer, with some doing a brilliant job improvising and adapting around unexpected absences - true creative pros! The costumes looked fantastic too!
A huge thank you to our wonderful students, families, staff and volunteers for your involvement and support this term. We also want to thank everyone for their incredibly kind cards and gifts for our team. Your kindness means so much. ๐ซถ
A special thank you goes to our amazing tutor team, volunteers and class assistants who made this term so special. This end of term is particularly bittersweet as Stage School says goodbye to Kirsty as she moves on to new adventures and Anne and Samya will soon be stepping back too. We wish them all every success and happiness in their next chapters. We wish them every success and happiness in their next chapters on Saturdays. Thankfully, we'll still see them over the next few months at Screen School & Youth Theatre.
One of the joys and privileges of PT and especially Stage School we know they will hold dear, is having watched our young stars grow up through the classes over the years and as we saw at our 18th Birthday on Saturday with past & present students and team there, once you're part of the PT family, you'll always have a place in it and we hope they won't be strangers and we know they will be cheering on our performers from afar. ๐
At the same time, we're also excited to welcome some lovely new staff and volunteer faces for the next chapter of Stage School too! ๐ค
We're already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term in August, and we may see some of you at our Family Fun Day on 9th August before then too!
Have a fantastic summer Stage Schoolers! โ๏ธ
