LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! ✨🎬
Does your child love performing, creating characters and being in front of the camera?
Our Acting for Screen class is the perfect place for young performers aged 7–12 to explore the exciting world of on-screen acting - all while building confidence, creativity and practical performance skills!
Screen acting is different from theatre, and our students get to discover exactly what makes a great on-screen performance. We explore different acting styles and techniques, learning how to make performances natural and believable for the camera.
What do we get up to?
✨ Working with scripts
✨ Improvisation and creating new work
✨ Learning screen acting techniques
✨ Taking direction and responding to feedback
✨ Building confidence in front of the camera
✨ Developing critical and creative thinking skills
✨ Using professional-quality equipment to create exciting screen work
And we don't just talk about the industry — we give our young performers opportunities to experience it! Some of our SOTS stars have recently had exciting opportunities filming with companies such as CBBC 💫
